France's Cinéville circuit to install Barco digital projectors

Cinemeccanica and digital-cinema projection leader Barco signed a deal with French theatre circuit Cinéville for the installation of 30 Barco 2K digital-cinema projectors in five multiplexes.

Located in the west of France, Cinéville is a fully owned subsidiary of exhibition leader Soredic. For their digital conversion, financed by Ymagis, the company turned to Barco partner Cinemeccanica. During the summer of 2009, Barco digital cinema projectors will be installed in Cinéville's theatres in Hénin-Beaumont, Rennes, Laval, La Roche-sur-yon and Quimper.

Cinemeccanica promotes and supports Barco's 2K digital-cinema projector range across southern Europe.
