GDC Technology, one of the leading solution providers of digital cinema, today announced installations of DSR™ servers have pushed past the 1000th mark. With the number of installations worldwide, GDC Technology is one of the leaders in providing server solutions to digital cinema markets.

GDC Technology has successfully delivered and installed more than 1000 servers to cinema theatres in Austria, Africa, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, The Netherlands, UK and US. More than 350 full-length feature films have been released digitally on GDC Technology servers. GDC Technology enjoys almost 100% market share in digital cinema in China. GDC servers have been widely used in China and installed in 27 different provinces including far western provinces such as Xinjiang and Tibet. All major exhibition chains in China such as Guangdong Dadi Digital Cinema China Ltd, Stellar MegaMedia Group, Golden Harvest and China Film Group use GDC Technology’s products almost exclusively for their digital cinema needs. The servers have been reliably serving the exhibitors for the past 5 years with the first server installed in Shanghai, China in May 2002.
