Barco and OSRAM offer one-stopshop for Digital Cinema lamps

  Barco announced a coop-eration with Osram. Thr-ough the Osram worldwide lamp supplier distribution network, exhibitors now have access to a one-stop-shop for lamp supply for both analog as well as digital cinema projectors.

 

   Osram will provide a cost efficient and simpler purch-asing process for both analog and high brightness digital cinema lamps.

 

   Through the cooperation with Osram, customers ben-efit from reduced logistics costs, resulting in a lower lamp unit price. Over the  course of the projector’s life time this results in a significant reduction in operational costs to the exhibitors, making the transition from analog to digital cinema even easier.
