3D theaters utilizing next-generation 3D technology. Having grossed a total of over $28 million,
Beowulf in REAL D 3D grossed approximately $8 million in 638 locations nationwide in its first
weekend.
The film’s box office success with REAL D 3D is a promising note for this year’s movie
exhibition business.
