Ymagis Has Concluded an Agreement to Deploy Digital in All Ocine's Cinemas

The Spanish cinema circuit OCINE, an important participant in the ACEC (Àrea Catalana d’Exhibició Cinematogràfica) programming group, and YMAGIS have concluded an agreement to deploy Digital Systems in all OCINE’s cinemas. 

OCINE has already deployed a number of systems in most of their cinemas and plans to continue this deployment, with views to complete the network’s digitization before the end of 2012.

OCINE’s cinemas were the first Spanish chain to deploy Digital Systems in all their sites and very early decided to incorporate this technology into their strategy. After having experienced all the advantages of this new technology, especially for the screenings of movies in 3D, Ocine proceeded to a careful evaluation of the various options available to complete in the future a full digitization of all its screens. 

After having completed this review, the OCINE group has decided to select YMAGIS to help implement this technological change to all its screens. With this decision, OCINE expects to go a step further and, benefiting from Ymagis’ technical support, to progress towards the full digitization of their Cinemas.
