"Hannah" had an even bigger weekend than Disney projected.

Final numbers showed "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert" grossed $31.1 million from its 683 digital 3-D screens. That's a whopping $45,561 per screen, a record for a wide release of 600 or more playdates.

The extra-dimensional concert film topped the domestic boxoffice rankings this weekend with the fewest-ever engagements by a No. 1 opener. It also rang up the biggest Super Bowl weekend gross ever.

Disney initially planned on playing "Hannah" for just one week but added another week to runs when it became clear the movie would do outsized business. On Sunday, the distributor said exhibitors can opt to extend the film's engagements beyond two weeks.

The 3-D movie release comes on the heels of the conclusion of a live concert tour by Miley Cyrus, star of the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana."
