Multikino Sp. z o.o. was incorporated in February 1996 and in July 1998, Multikino opened Poland's first multiplex cinema in the city of Poznan.Today, Multikino is one of Poland's leading multiplex cinema operators. Multikino operates currently 86 screens across nine locations in major Polish cities: Warsaw, Poznan, Cracow, Gdansk, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Elblag, Zabrze and Wloclawek. Multikino continues to expand its network of prime locations and 2007 will see the number of multiplex cinemas growing by 50% - to open are two new cinemas in Wroclaw, one in Poznan and another in Rybnik as well as Multikino's flagship multiplex cinema located in the Zlote Tarasy Center in the heart of Warsaw.
